| I have been putting Chainsaw Man off time and time again and ive had plenty of opinions on the show before watching and i thought i wouldnt like it and though were only 1 episode in i found it to be quite good. First things first, Denji ive never known how to feel about him even after reading around 10 chapters i still didnt know how to feel and the opinions i formed on him through clips and panels ive seen i thought i wouldnt like him, though after this ep seeing a bit about who he is and a refresher on his character. I kinda like him. The animation, i always heard it was bad or not up too the standards of some people who always find something to complain about and i was suprised. This ep had some amazing animation from the art style, especially with how nothing seems censored and when he transforms he looks amazing. Overall this was quite a good first episode. |

Just started watching Chainsaw Man, finally. I like how Denji understood that the people turned zombies weren't at fault, but decided that he wouldn't let them get in his way because of how much he cares about his dream. In order to reach it, he was forced to fight against what was holding him back, but with no hard feelings <3 |

| MAPPA had the chance to give Denji a voice as iconic as Darth Vader when in devil form. This is disappointing. |
| Dude ended up scoring quite a bit more than just jam to go with his bread. Pretty damn striking for an opener. |
| Pretty good premiere. The dialogue at the end admittedly felt weak; given how his life had gone up to that point, Denji should've said "Fucking sold." the moment she mentioned food. |
