as an anime only watcher after i watched the episode i wanted to see how the people reacted to finally a good episode in this season literally i finally can see them move like human beings not some paper npcs that glitch but what i saw is the LN readers crying about how it was better in the LN i just wanted to say chill are you not familiar with anime anymore thats what happens for every good LN that gets an adaptation it will never be as good as the expectations

the real question is after the studio literally put all his budget and effort on this episode expecting a praise from the community as their last hope to save the season but all they got is that they are shit .are they going to even care about season 3 or just rush it and don't give a fuck they can't satisfy you after all ?

As a LN reader I agree this episode was fantastic. Thoroughly satisfied and impressed. The only scenes that *kinda* suffered were Ayanokoji's talks with the teacher and Horikita's brother, but other than that the episode was fire.

Sure it didn't have EVERY detail desired but it was a well done fight scene. It even kept most of the important dialogue so idk what the fuss is about.

There’s only 3 certainties in life. Death, taxes, and LN/manga readers crying about the anima adaptation.

Volume 1, if you want to experience everything they skipped, with a good build up.
Else, volume 4, if you already know what happened in the season 1, and what was skipped.

i know and it's obvious that they rushed it and don't care about the source material but i am just saying man give them some praise just a little bit at least after a good episode

Outsourcing episodes, skipping an entire volume, and putting an inexperienced animation producer on a major adaptation isn't the sign of a healthy production.

Most people here are not complaining about the cut content, but how half the season was given such a poor tratment in the production department.

exactly. most probably due to Ladokawa but Lerche are at fault also. I heard that they would try to improve on the blu rays tho (which is quite the work tbh)

Nah, even in the light novel, this shit was still boring up until Kei Karuizawa took the spotlight, aka volume 7.5. I can go further and say it would continue its plainness upto the current volume of the second year, except when Karuizawa appeared on screen. Those are at least, endurable.
Help! I need somebody. Help! Not just anybody. Help! You know I need someone. Helpppppp!

It was a very very Successful season for the studio even if it was 🚮(trash).
The goal of the Anime adaptation is just to increase the sales of the source material and merch.
When Light Novel readers are calling out the bad animation all over every community the sales of the source material(Novel) will consequently increase!.

U can start from 1 or start from the cliffhanger of the ending in 1st season (that would be vol. 4), both are fine and u will have a good experience with it

True, I'm LN fans but I think it's time for ln reader to cool down and try to judge this show without comparing it to ln.
