Should I watch Endless Eight?

i think the endless eight is def worth a watch as it adds to the relief when to loop is finally broken and its just a unique experience

If you have literally nothing better to spend your time on, go ahead and watch all of them. I did, and in hindsight, it probably wasn't worth it. like, I 'get it', but it's not really worth it.

At least watch the first 2 before skipping to the last one.
The way it goes from a perfect SoL episode (the first episode) to slow burn cosmic horror (the second episode) in the framework of the same groundhog day loop of events is memorably creepy despite the redundancy of the other episodes.

8 episodes was overkill, but for a while there each episode had its own little directorial/stylistic slant. Seeing each scene animated from scratch over and over with a new storyboard each time creates a weird hypnotic spacial awareness in each scene that's never going to be replicated again in animation. It's a cool exercise in mood, tone and atmosphere.

About halfway through the novelty wears off and your brain begins rotting but if you skip to the end you're a pussy

You can watch the first, 7th (Kyon has a funny way answering Mikuru's phone call) plus the last one. Or...watch them all at once. Surprised someone actually done it!

Just finished watching Endless Eight and I fear I have become the latest victim of the Greatest Prank of All Time. 8 episodes for that ending is hilarious. Realistically, you should probably skip it, but forcing yourself through it is an experience of its own that I kinda have to recommend lol.

Most people say watch episodes 1,2 and 8 because those are the only ones with plot relevance but if you really want the full Disappearance experience you have to watch episode 4 as well. That episode specifically hits all the right atmosphere points
