| I think Ost in these two videos are better than Whatever mappa did. https://youtu.be/66xbYsmuUmM Sound is kinda weird here but the ost choice is good https://youtu.be/PlHsvsV206s I think the ost used during eren vs Reiner and porco in the recent ep was weak. I didn't felt the hype. I was really hyped for the ep but while watching it I felt nothing. First of all CGI fights doesn't looks great in general but it can look good with proper bgm or with proper fight sequence and both were lacking in this ep. Aot has soo much good ost but why tf mappa keeps coming back to the same osts again and again?? People were hyped abt hayashi directing the ep and what happened?? Literally nothing!! It was nothing special, it was just a normal aot ep. Wit eps had far better direction. |

| I agree but also disagree. The edits are amazing for sure, but I think the origial isn't bad. I agree that the music choice could be better and they should use more old ost's but imo the ost of kohta yamamoto is very underrated. Sure it doesnt have the uniqueness of the sawano scores, but its still abaolutely increadible. My favourite tracks are: Ashes of Fire Guilty Hero Successor Zekes Plan Splinter Wolf Nightmare and Warriors But as I said I kinda agree that they could improve the music choice |
| I agree, i don't know what happened but the OST placement in this episode was weak, it happened a few times in part 1 but i think that this is the worst it has been. Next episode should be better, but still... You are not wrong, in all honesty. |

| The first one sounds thematically off to me. I don't usually remember battle soundtracks but I'm fairly sure it played in ep 5 from season 1, the episode Eren got gobbled up. There's a daunting vibe about it that's supposed to sound ominous, and scary wasn't exactly what the fight was going for. The second one sounds too dramatic to the point of trying hard. |
