The manga seems fine, is the anime really that bad?

I’ve saw the post about the order of the episodes and LN on the anime’s Twitter and pretty much everyone who have read the LN found out: they SWAP the order of the LN make it become a mess. Like LN vol 2 is supposed to be 1-10, but the anime decide to do like 1, 2,…, 6 and then FOR SOME REASON they jump to 8 and then make 7 a little flashback while 8-10 was on the screen(sorry if its a bit hard to understand but I can’t found a better way to explain).

The anime isn’t bad per se. It’s just not good. It got extreme hate because it was so hyped up. And anything with hype behind it usually attracts a ton of contrarian commenters just because they think hating on things gives them a personality.

From what I understand the anime didn’t do the LN justice, but anime rarely does.

If you have a dead spot in a season and just want some generic Anime, it’s okay for that. But I wouldn’t say it’s worth watching over something else. And it’s fine if you want to walk away from it. There’s nothing wrong with dropping an anime you’re not enjoying.
