3 episodes in and i still dont know why he is in another world he hasn't even said anything about it. This just feels like a normal slice of life anime.

I don’t know if this helps but it says that “Reiji was once an ordinary salaryman until he somehow stepped into a fantasy world” haven’t read the manga yet so I don’t exactly know how it happened. But I feel like if there was a reason to why he was there they would have told us right in the beginning.

Basically the first 5 chapters wasnt shown,

Heres whats in chapter 1: he's in forest>he reliazes its and isekai and dont have to work a shit job>he saw wolf injured in forest and made and gave medicine to wolf that turn to loli.

Chapter 2: they go town and they talk to bunch of people, thye give people drugs, they happy.

Chapter 3:people build drugstore, old builder too slow, old builder drank potion, turned super saiyan now he fast vroooommm bob the builder.

Ch4: Too lazy
Ch5: Too lazy

Chapter 6 is where the episode of the tired yandere girlfriend that needed chill pill medicine.

Hhhmmmmmm.......

Without what jirehhh just said I would point out that the show mentions it in passing but what does make it an isekai is his knowledge of everyday items that he reproduces to the amazement of everyone(think of the dishwasher episode).

Yes it is but until now we didn't get to see that how he came to another world or fighting with villains like any other isekai.

What does the isekai tag matter bud? Just enjoy it for what it is, if the isekai parts unclear then it could well be an intentional mystery. If you still don't know by the end, then ask questions.

It's only going to be 12 episodes so any screen time dedicated to some predictable origin story means less time spent on casual fantasy village shenanigans. The series seems to have just enough isekai stuff going on to qualify as one but it's not the central point.
The main character does reinvent various products he knows from the modern world (apart from selling actual magic potions) so he brings a bit of civilization with him into this world.

itll probably explain later on, I doubt that they would do something like calling it an isekai but never even addressing why

Kind of. Its weird because it says that he came from another world, but they never explain anything about it.

Its just like a secondary thing in the plot

Seems like they skipped the going to another world part... which defeats the entire purpose of having it be called isekai!
