| I have watched the movie. And it has inspired me to write a review about the movie and my thoughts about 2012 (Not the movie but the actual 2012). I'll put it in my blog, and I'll tell you when it's done. But a question, Do you believe in 2012, aka the end of the world? I would love your input spam. I mean the theory about the earth's crust displacement (which was in the movie ) is starting to look a little real due to all these earthquakes lately. (More on the crust displacement here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cataclysmic_pole_shift_hypothesis) Just think about it. But then again who really knows. Oh and, if the world does end, what kind of apocalypse would you rather have? |

| 2012 Common Misconceptions: "The Mayans Predicted It As The End Of The World" - Wrong. It's just the last year on their calendar. For all we know, it's just as far ahead as they cared to write a calendar for. It could also signify a significant religious date. "It's 12/12/2012" - No, it's not. The conversion to our calendar actually places it somewhere in 2059, so even if it is the end of the world, it's not for another 49 years. The only thing significant happening in 2012 is hopefully getting the moron black lawyer out of the White House. |
