What did Shinobu mean?

When Shinobi says that 'If Araragi dies the day after tomorrow, she will live for 3 days and tell a stranger about him' , how long exactly does that mean? Does she mean she will live the tomorrow and then the day after tomorrow (when he dies) and the the day after he dies (adding up to three days so meaning she only lives one day after he dies) or does it mean she will live 3 days after his death?

I've had people to explain this to me but I was never satisfied. Sorry if this is confusing!

Well I know if Araragi were to die, Shinobu would become a full vampire again, thus actually making her more immortal if that makes sense. I don't know for sure but I always assumed that was just a metaphor for how much she's grown to love him and his impact on her. That if he were to die she would go and tell his story to anyone willing to listen for aslong as she lives.

She means that she will not die with him, instead she will live one more day after he dies to tell someone about his legacy so that he can live on in memory. Hope that helps.

Araragi's nerve system are connected to shinobu right? If he dies with pain, then won't shinobu feel the pain as well?
