It sucks Sachiko's perspective wasn't adapted to the anime, it sure adds to the story. It's beautiful to see how much she cares for Satoru, he is lucky for having such a supportive and amazing mom. |

| For a large part of the manga, she was little more than "Satoru's mom" to me. As the manga moved forward, she impressed me again and again, and again. And again, so much so that she actually became my favorite character in the entire series! She is Satoru's mom no more. She is Sachiko Fujinuma. |
