The Show Is Good But This Concept Is Overused

Let me first start off by saying , I’ve enjoyed Log Horizon greatly. However , if there is one thing that I think is overused it’s the “Junior Members” arc. It was interesting at first but now it just feels forced. I don’t like how they had to de power all the other adventurers for the kid’s plot. It was really weird because they made it seem like Shiroe had no strategy, he just passed it on to the kids which isn’t really like him at all. He gave up so easily.

I mean the kids got a big fight before Shiroe and the level 90 adventurers did this arc which annoys me because the kids fight almost everyday, Shiroe and the rest do not. I understand it is to help the kids grow but damn they totally fazed out the MC the last few episodes of the season after not even being the main character this arc and not getting a lot of screen time this season

I think the message was that he trusted the kids rather than that he was incapable of doing it himself.
As a leader/strategist you don’t necessarily need to be the one taking the lead in a situation, trusting others is part of being a good leader too.

As a side note, I do agree as a writing trope it wasn’t the smartest, but I particularly enjoyed it as I love most of these little brats (and they had gone through enough character development to make me wonder what they’ll do next).

I mean like it’s nice to see the kids grow and become better and it’s nice to see Shiroe has trust in them and I like each of them individually particularly Rudy and Toya
