From 1-10 how dark is your favourite anime?

But considering you put "edgy" in 10/10 then I will refrain from voting. Cause it feels like you are misunderstanding what edgy means. Dark is not edgy. Edgy is when you try too hard to be cool. Usually by including dark themes just for the sake of it. It's when you're excessively dark. I.e when it doesn't serve a purpose and you're just doing it for the sake of doing it. Shock value or whatever. If a show is extremely dark, then that doesn't necessarily mean it's edgy. Something like Blood C or Corpse Party is dark to the point where it's just edgy. But something like Berserk or Monster is very dark without being edgy. Also, slice of life can still be very dark. Slice of life isn't inherently light hearted and fun. |

| Jashin-chan Dropkick 6-6.5/10 for the gory scenes with Jashin-chan. Geragera Boes Monogatari ...maybe a 4 or 5/10 for all the animal abuses/violence, even though it's done in a comedic way some may still have issues with it? IDK. Danganronpa 7/10 For the gore & deaths. Yosuga no Sora 7/10 for the wincest and general story. |
