Ah a classic tournament episode. That was an interesting ending with the baron changing his mind about killing Sapphire. And maybe some of the things he had to say will come true about having the country taken away from Sapphire.

English dub from now on.

So Prince Sapphire is named Prince Knight in the dub.

I've noticed since episode 2 that envionmentalists might not like this anime. It's full of trees being cut. It's dated, and I will just plow through it. It's an important piece of work but not enjoyable to watch.

Again looks like I watched the wrong episode, I watched the episode where the princess switches places with a beggar who looks just like her.

The typical switch places with someone of different status episode, it was with a random guy who looks just like her.

John's sister ended being saved by Choppy and some divine interventions hahaha, literally the gold fell from the sky to her hands, a Deus ex machina solution. She also did a reference to the little match girl, with this is the second time they make reference to western fairy tales, I think this will be a constant in this show and I like it.

Those guys proved the princess was a boy, with that I thought they were going to stop trying to prove her gender but one of them noticed the scam at the last minute so this thing of they trying to prove her gender will continue I guess.

The final battle was just lame, the princess teleported here and there, the guys the villains hired did absolutely nothing, in fact they disappeared in the next shot, the battles in this show are a nonsense.

Strange that John didn't enjoy being a prince hahaha.

I enjoyed this episode, it was a good premise but as I said there were many things I didn't like about it.
