Are we supposed to like the humans in this story?

So I’ve read the first 18 chapters of this story now and all I can say is, why should we not want the humans wiped out? Like I get the demons are assholes to but like 99% of the humans we’ve met in this manga are pieces of shit. The nobles, shit. The ministers, shit. The guild employees, only the receptionist was tolerable. The court mages, shit. Yes white flame girl came around somewhat she’s still shit for now though.the merchant they were hired to guard, shit. The adventurers has n the convoy, shit. Not counting the people from japan (as I count humans from different worlds in isekai as being different species from each other on principle due to how much the values can differ) their are only 3 humans in this story who haven’t shown to be massive assholes/ pieces of shit. Yet I can’t tell if the story wants me to want them to be saved or not. The hero wants to save them and Mc doesn’t actively not want them saved which implies we should want them to live but they’ve also gone out of their way to make them so god damn hate able like what’s going on?
