So just finished the original and it was a complete masterpiece. So many feels etc etc and I was good with the ending. Just watched 23B and it was so depressing to see Okabe acting like a normal college kid despite all he went through. I was just about to skip 0 altogether as I am quite happy with the original BUT, am I to understand that 0 is the path walked by the Okabe that sent the dmail video from the future? If so I’m quite interested and will definitely watch but I’m not sure I can watch a depressing alternate time line if that’s not the case.

Thanks for the info, trying to avoid spoilers while also trying to make sure I know what I am getting myself into haha

SG0 is not as good as steins gate as you can think of it as a bad ending to steins gate. It isn't a necessary watch but you should try it and make up your own opinion.
