| Would you say that being an Anime only for Beastars is alright/good enough. Many people have told me to pick up the manga in addition but I am quite limited on time. Is the experience of the manga worth enough to go alongside the anime - are the two experiences different enough? |
| Not an avid reader, I mostly skimmed over chapters of episodes I liked, and it's every other story you heard before: "anime does stuff slightly different, manga's better". Watch the anime if you don't have the time. It looks great, doesn't have any major changes, and the music's A+. |

| I wouldn't say it's very different, but the anime misses out on a lot of detail - and one or two crucial scenes. Can't blame them because there is so much source material they could probably have made 24 eps instead of 12 for the content of season 1. As a manga reader myself, I'd say the anime is good enough if you are watching casually. But once you start to reflect upon details and are really drawn into the world of Beastars, you might want to pick up the manga. If you read 1 chapter (mostly 20 pages) a day, you'll be done with the first season's content in 6-7 weeks ;) |

| Manga artstyle is vastly different from the anime. I know, "it's CG so shouldn't that be obvious" - but the CG doesn't really even try to replicate the manga's art (understandably). Paru's art is super good so it's definitely worth reading all the way through, also the manga has much more exposition |
