| A fun world with an old school anime vibe. I fear that this will go the way of so many other animes where the initial world-building is more interesting than the drawn out final fight. |
| The only thing I don't like so far are the flashbacks which are boring to me unfortunately. The villain's dialogue is so generic, they didn't even try to make him interesting. Everything else is quite fun. The show is honestly no different than a lot of 90s stuff that are beloved today but also weren't consistently excellent every single episode. Gunsmith Cats, Trigun, you name it. What this show is quite remarkable for however, is how the dark skinned characters outnumber white, which is very rare (or literally a first?) for anime. It's just refreshingly different. I like the vibe of the show, the two robots are amusing, and the OP and ending music are excellent. |
