| Watching this for the first time, knowing that it's a shonen. I gotta say, this is a really unique idea for a shonen. "for 2,000, 000 years, Humanity has moved from the stone age to the modern age. We're going to to sprint through that." "I'm going to save Yuzuriha!" I actually find this interesting. After all, when you're playing an open world and start from scratch entirely, this is what it feels like. |

| The world would have been such a boring place without Japan. Anime can literally have any plot. That's what I love about it!! Two teenage boys set out to rebuild human civilization!!! Talk about a really unique story!! Only the first episode and I'm loving it!! Can't wait to see how this story goes!!! |

| Animation Decent , Story So So . Will Be Done Quickly. |
| Coming back to this show after stopping my watch through back when it first came out. Im honestly very disappointed with my younger self as i have come to love this show after just one episode and im glad i decided to come back. The animation throughout has been solid along with the sound design and just the overall scenic landscapes ive come to enjoy in recent times. Throughout this first episode i really enjoyed how Taiju pushed through being stuck in stone over a few thousand years, just because he wanted to confess to his crush. I really respect him for that and im glad he awoke. Senku is one hell of a genius and i really like the way he acts and the way his character is in general. I like how he brought Taiju back first for all the heavy lifting well he does all the brainy stuff. Seeing them two work together and help each other out was really nice and seeing them overcome the petrification problem was really sweet and seeing how happy they were was nice. |

| The "petrification" seems to have some magic properties, and I assume it must suspend the metabolism somehow as well, in a similar manner to cryogenic stasis. |

| Solid first episode, the background music,animation everything looks good so far especially the opening, it's an absolute banger. Senku count all these time in his head and still haven't gone insane is just a prof that senku is a overpowered anime protagonist lol. |

| I remember when this show was airing close to 6 years ago, and my first thought was to read the manga instead... And so long story short, I read the manga, caught up to the latest chapter, and continued reading it weekly until eventually, the manga concluded, ending it for good. What an incredible story... To ensure I do not watch the anime adaptation for the sake of watching but instead enjoy it as its own entertainment, I've made a personal vow to only start watching the anime adaptation when Senku reaches... and that has come to pass this season. Now 6 years later, with a new motivation and a desire to relive this wonderful series in all its animated glory, I'm finally watching Dr.Stone!!! The visual is breathtaking, genuinely. I love seeing the vibrant lushness of this post-apocalyptic stone world in full display, but as beautiful as the visual is, nothing is as beautiful as The Indomitable Human Spirit transcending the passage of time, persevering through hopeless darkness in a pursuit to take reign of one's ambition and realize it into reality. It could be as simple as staying alive to finally get the chance to confess to one's love interest or the overall goal to revive the Human Race from a world so far gone into its primitive era. I wholeheartedly believe that Dr. Stone has one of the most beautiful and awe-inspiring stories that I've read and I can't help but feel hyped to get to relive it once again in this anime adaptation. As Senku says it... "GET EXCITED!" |

| this is a really interesting concept, just some normal boys. one has a vegetable looking hair with some brain and the other is an idiot with loads of stamina. what could have caused the petrification world wide. and it only affected humans and some birds. i have high expectations for the answers to be at somewhat logical. revival is kinda shit tho. if it can be undone by just some corrodent, why are they stone inside out when fallen apart? |

| This first episode has quite the strong opener! A glowing green light appears and everyone in the world is turned to stone? Absolutely wild. But I think if any duo could rebuild society from zero, Senku and Taiju can do it. The high intelligence Senku's shown and Taiju's insane willpower to stay awake during all that time speaks for itself. Taiju's goal of confessing to Yuzuriha has made considerable progress now that they've successfully reanimated that bird! |
