Most likely because it sounded cool. I have heard rumours that it is the unedited version of Poppin Party's self sponsored live show from the point of view of Rokka (I still don't know if I am spelling her name right) but we don't know at this current time.

That would make sense. I wasn't sure since sometimes I find announcements that are for attractions or other things, so putting LIVE in the title made me a little skeptical

problably since in the game there's a music that the voc. from the 5 bands sing together

ahh u mean quintuple smile and garupa pico..well those two are the only songs in which aimin,miku,amita,ayaneru and aiai sing together...so mostly it will be something like few songs from each band turning into a 2 hour concert

It is a live with 3-4 songs for each group, some MC segments and the 2 2nd season OP songs as the encore. RAS have a non speaking cameo.

The movie was released in Japan yesterday (Fri Sep 13) and screened in Melbourne, Australia at Madman Anime Festival today (Sat 14th) with Aina Aiba present.

It appears that it was also screened today at a manga festival in Bangkok with Haruka Kudo in attendance.

Yes, they showed it in Bangkok. I'm from Philippines and traveled all the way to Bangkok just to see Kudoharu and the live. Kudoharu was so gorgeous in person and I even managed to talk to her in one of Animate Bangkok's event. She handed something like a business card in person.
