2did they skip much from manga or LN ?
3should I read them for explanations?

I read all the source materials [Web Novel, Light Novel , and Manga]

I wouldn't call the pacing is perfect but it's still pretty good .
Surely the anime and even the manga have also skipped many stuff from the source material but the anime still managed to get many points across just fine .
tensura anime pacing and everything about it in general is...

1. Pace is slightly faster than I would have liked.
2. Quite a bit of exposition that is present in the light novel was cut out. Even some parts from the manga didn't make it if I'm not mistaken.
3. Only if you have the time or really like the anime. They're fun reads either way imo.

I complain about some details that have been skipped, but that would have made the experience more fun and flirty.

1. Bad pace for now they it's basically just like imagine you want plot A then rush without no reason to plot D.
2. Yes a lot.
3. Yes to read more detail that skipped.about : A. How weak rimuru is compare king dwargo and milim, how rimuru town was made by having a deal together with king dwargo, thread / danger level, fake yuusha that actually become real yuusha later and his moment when having a deal with rimuru. Deeper character introductions, Ext ext ext.
4. Read manga first then continue to LN. ( Because it's just fun to start from manga first ).

yeah already read the manga :) they skip a lot I think they need to slow down what arc they are gonna end season 1?
