Did you ever regret starting to watch anime?

Well, I very much missed my family when they decided moved to another country but left me and my twin to finish our Studies. I'd say anime was the one who really cheered me up in times of need. From a Naruto casual watcher to exploring more anime, I don't regret it, not even once.

although I'm not watching much shows unlike last year, because I'd rather go out and chill with my circle... I'm still thankful that anime had a part in my life, even now.

edit: yeah 2017 was my weeb phase lmao.

No, I wished I watched more back in the day instead of so many shounen shows.

Anime is yet another thing I can slowly consume like video games and youtube videos to relieve my boredom. The difference is that anime is the right combination of free AND a long term distraction.

I sort of regret it because it has opened me up to its fanbase. The anime fanbase is full of cringey fucks.

If I didn't have anime I'd be either a full time gamer or a movie/tv show nerd and I definitely prefer the way it is now.

Hell no, it's the opposite I regret I didn't find it earlier. Sometimes I asked myself how my life would be without anime and I always concluded that it definitely would be worse. I would probably just be more bored.

I regret deeply wasting my time with animés. They made me miss too many super sentaï series.

Joke aside, I have watched animés for the last thirty years thanks to a famous tv segment called "club dorothée" that aired in France when I was a kid. Frankly, the only thing I regret is that I socialized too much and did to many things outside my obsessive interests for mangas, animés tokutatsu and some other (unrelated)stuff. But the main reason about me being happy about my manga and animé obsession is this : it's now something that I share (to the extent in which the show Î watch is suitable and appropriate) with my teenage daughter, whom I love very much.
