The last arc seemed a little rushed... was the author given a deadline to end it?

The ending was... ok, somewhat open ended.

No mention of who or what Noah is. The Table of Contents in the Book of Eibon, the great old one that chose to stay in the book, and the last great old one wasn't revealed (was it excalibur?).

Kishin could've had more backstory. Did Shinigami discard his fear knowing that Asura would be created? Why did Shinigami include him in his team knowing he was a product of his fear?

The Asura / Shinigami backstory could've used 3-4 chapters.

Some other things like Soul's brother / family, Maka's mother, some more backstory on Demon Mirror (why he wears the mascot head) and his gorilla meister.
