| How do you differentiate a special from an OVA? Most OVAs are DVD only, as bonus episodes on the DVDs of the series. |
Saya said: No, OVAs are released seperately, DVD specials are included. Then you better alert 98% of fansub groups that title anything after a series run as OVA! And correct tons of stuff on this site wrongly listed. For instance the Genshiken OVAs, that came on the Kujibiki DVDs, and vice versa. And as I look a my list sorted by OVAs, there are heaps of others. Then there's stuff like Winter Garden that are listed as specials, when they were released on their own. Really, there's little to no difference between the two, I see no reason to have two separate categories. |
