| I might be one of the very few looking forward to this series. I wasn't expecting it, but the 1st PV looked alright. I thought it was going to look worse. My only gripe is the episode count. Chapters are somewhat lengthy (being a monthly publication) and there is enough material (13 volumes as now) for at least 24 episodes. The length will be the death of it, imo... Anyhow, I hope they don't rush it, especially the game matches, but err... I can already see them doing just that after that 12 episodes announcement. me = disappointed about episode count me = still looking forward to it because i enjoy the manga and want to see the matches animated. Now, regarding the staff: I'm neutral about the director (not fan of anything he has done as a director), but I think they did fine by hiring Yuuko Kakihara for the series composition... and that's only because her involvement with Chihayafuru 2, which, in one way or another, has some similarities to this. |

| Man, I dislike the VA they choose for the MC (well more than the VA is the way he decide to approach the character’s voice). I don’t think it fits him, but ohh well. Hopefully Mari’s VA will be better. The OP is kinda catchy. I think it goes well with the show. |
