Just wondering why the character page for Tohka doesn't use her actual name. And since people will cry wolf at "no proof" I thus provide the following many official sources: (artbooks and different companies who all use the official translation)

I also have the blu-ray and I mean it's on the official site. How can an opinion of how to translate something supersede the actual translation? Official means official, doesn't it? A company even has the right to change a name in the english/whatever version (like in Sailor Moon for example).

So isn't "Tooka" as correct as a fansub or Google translation? It's not official.

It's stupid MAL policy. Those names with "oh" on their name are all turned into "oo".

Because it's nothing but American thing. Hepburn is now a global romanization system and using "oh" is retarded when it' clearly should be romanized as oo. Creating these inconsistencies is confusing and pointless. If anything is stupid it's the usage of "oh".
If something is standardized then it should stay like this. People in Japan aren't using romaji names (except few official pages or something) but they are using Kana and kanji.
OO is a correct romaji writing in MAL and modern Hepburn standards.

So now you want to use garbage altered dub names too? Rotfl.

I know this thread is old, but I'm always triggered when I see "BUT IT'S OFFICIAL" apologists.
