| So one thing has bothered me about this season and that's Ash's Pokemon team. Every time I click on a Pokemon theory or about the league they always say that this is Ash's best he has made. But if you ask me, this is his worse team he has ever made. First off, all of Ash's Pokemon share some of the same type disadvantages. Greninja, Hawlucha, Talonflame, and Pikachu are all weak to electric types. I'm only putting Pikachu in this area because his attacks won't harm another electric type that well and depending on the Pokemon could know more attacks besides electric. Next Hawlucha, Noivern, and Goodra are all weak to ice type moves. Hawlucha could get a good attack in being a fighting type, but he is still weak to this type. Now I'll give people some credit on this. Ash has never gotten all of his Pokemon to evolve to their final form, but if someone gave me this team to use in a battle I would not have a lot of confidence with them. Next Ash's Diamond and Pearl team and Black and White team's are better then this. Now yeah their not perfect, but here me out. For the D and P team Ash has never gotten 2 of his starters to their final forms. He mostly get's them to their second forum and that's about it. Still he got 2 other Pokemon to their final forums and he caught a dragon type. Yeah not impressive seeing as he has 2 now. For his B and W team, yeah Ash only got 3 to their final forms and a starter to second form, but Ash had better verity on his team this time around. I mean grass/bug, dark/ground, fighting/dark/, Water/Ground, he caught his first rock type. So yeah it's not great, but he can at least switch thing's around to give him some type of advantage. So those are my reason's why I don't think this team is so great. So why with so many problems that people call the XYZ team the best? What am I missing or not seeing with this team? |
| I always hear people calling on evolution this evolution that. Have we all forgotten the Badasses that are Bulbasaur and Squirtle ? Seriously those guys are top tier fighters without ever evolving. The anime has proven numerous times that evolution isnt that impressive, this is not the games where you suddenly get 100 base stats added after an evolution. And Dragons arent that impressive to begin with. They just usually belong TO impressive trainers in the anime, that is what made them dangerous. But yeah, ultimate team my behind. Noivern is a hatchling even if it evolved and Goodra hasnt gotten that many bouts in either. Strong Pokemon ? Yeah. Trained Pokemon ? Not quite. |
