Pretty good first episode, I'm really liking it, yeah it's a bit generic, but it's really enjoyable.

The animation and fights were genuinely very good, better than even a lot of modern shows. No slideshows here, every move is fluid and fully animated.

That said, I'm really struggling to get over the way the show's primary plot mechanic violates the laws of physics. You can't just have a strong arm and a normal body. If you pick up some gigantic 300 pound muscle dude with your monster arm, all that weight is on your arm, yes, but it's also on your shoulder, and your spine, and your waist, and your legs, etc. If you punch something super heavy or well braced (like a concrete building) with a super strong arm, it doesn't go flying, YOU do. Most of the feats that the MC performs this episode would leave him with his arm ripped off or in a wheelchair.
