| Yes finally we have a new opening and ending and they are so much better than the last ones. Sorry but I just couldn’t get into opening 3 and ending 3 for this show. I tried to like them I really did but they just weren’t doing it for me. Plus for ending 4 it has some more interesting visuals going on than just it being about Winry when it’s ironic considering Winry wasn’t really that active in the vast majority of episodes that had specific ending in particular. Otherwise I’ll say the new opening and ending are great compared to the ones that came before them. Anyways onto the episode itself I guess in a way I figured that yeah it was a ruse that Ed pulls at the end of the last episode and it was essentially just an act because speaking of Winry she’s not a hostage to Scar and were just again trying to get away from Kimblee and his men. I did think there is going to be more to do this than just a distraction and I called it we get the episode where they plan out the ruse. Plus the Chimeras that Ed and Al fought are literally people that just want to be normal again so checks out for the most part. Not much else to say other than it was a decent episode but I reckon the next episode is gonna be even better. |
| Ahh yes, if it isn't the classic case of spoiling everything that's to come in the OP. The new ED is fantastic though.. From the previews of ep. 40, it seems Mustang is going to find out something...interesting. That revelation, and the event that led to it, is one of my favorite moments from the manga. This episode however, felt really long for some reason. Mostly because of all the sentimentality... Al's body just popping out of nowhere was scary. And kudos to that guy for reminding Winry to take off her earrings, though she's going to have a lot more to worry about if she and the others get to the fort haha. |
