Password system is broken and convoluted.

When I was trying to make my password I noticed that if I put in 7 random letters followed by 55 the password was fine, but if it was 7 letters and 555 that was too weak, even though it was longer, and anything after 555 also was too weak. the number 1 also basically doesn't seem to count at all towards password complexity and it doesn't accept any words even if you pair them with some short gibberish.

Aside from the system being kinda messed up, not to be a dick but this is an anime forum. My online banking password had literally fewer restrictions put on it than this site puts on passwords. There's no way I would ever remember the password I had to choose without writing it down, which kind of beats the purpose? Would be super cool if you allowed for shorter and less complex passwords. If someone wants the word password as their password let them have it?

seriously, i had to basically just mash letters because no permutation of any of my usual passwords would take

Hi @Sevikodkod / @Dodonk - I think some people are making the password issue larger than it needs to be. Harder and more complicated passwords help lessen the chance of being hacked and it should be pretty easy to make a password if you create one that relates to you in an easy to remember way.

I mean, I outlined these points above already but: There is nothing valuable on this site. Banks have less security. There is no reason that the passwords for this site should be more complicated than passwords you use for banking.
The password system is broken. It will accept enualop77 but it wont accept enualop777 despite the fact that enualop777 is more secure. Also the number 1 might as well not exist because it doesn't count the number 1 as adding security to a password.
It won't accept words or variations on words either, no matter how long the password is despite the fact that the most secure passwords are phrases like Wh0 Let Th3 Dog 0ut because it would take any hacking attempt literally quadrillions of years to guess that by any form of brute force.
