| What series do you feel took a nosedive in quality due to changes made to it? |

| Interesting topic. Off the top of my head, Sidonia no Kishi and Psycho-Pass were two fairly recent series that hit the gutter in their second seasons, going completely away from what made them good and instead going for something bland, conservative, and relatively insulting to me as a whole. Looking at my list though, I gotta point out Date A Live, Gatchaman Crowds, the Arise chapter for GitS, Hayate no Gotoku, Hitsugi no Chaika, and Working!. All of these series were memorable, fresh, and entertaining out the gate. That said, I have no idea what the later sequels for these were trying to get at. Some I wonder how they were green-lit or why the production team would tinker so much with something that wasn't broken to start with. Probably a bunch of other series I omitted, but those eight were the most notable. |

| To name a few off my list: Date A Live - S@ was just plain crap. It's like they took everyting I like in S1 and said "F**K THIS!" Kuroshitsuji II - It was a crap original S2. Grisaia no Rakuen - just wasn't as good as S1 Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu - just a crap S2 Physcho PAss - The S2 was nowhere near the first. Talk about a divergence. Natsume Yuujinchou - The seasons started getting more and more bland. just didn't feel the same. |

| In my opinion, I think that the second season of Code Geass was pretty terrible. However, the show wasn't all that good in the first place imo. Plus, people seem to like the second season more. Hitsugi no chaika & Knights of Sidonia had really bad second seasons too. |

As for Geass, I'm hesitant to look at R2 episodes again though, as I'll probably find even more disappointment on a second glance. |
| Yeah, I agree that Psycho-pass's hype seemed a bit unearned, but it wasn't bad by any means. Psycho-Pass 2 on the other hand is just a train wreck, and is a real shame that it had to go that downhill. |

CG is one of the few shows that I consider to be kind of terrible but I still really enjoy it. haha I'm guessing the third time wasn't the charm for you. Yeah, when you have a dominant, endearing character like Lelouch it's hard not to be entertained. And there are those x-factors like having Jun Fukuyama's voice and the CLAMP designs around. Nonetheless, it's still a memorable series and I can recall random things like all the Pizza Hut advertisements and tame school-related events. |
| these shows themselves arent ground breaking, but had decent first seasons. Ive watched some bad second seasons/sequels, but these have to be the worst: sorcerous stabber orphan beet the vandel buster medabots All 3 had nothing to do with their first season, less than nothing in most cases, were all too long and ridiculously boring. |

| Definitely SAO for me... SAO's second season made me lose interest completely. 3rd season of Tokyo Ghoul... Re completely demolished what I liked about the series... ;-; |
