How about the " he was a normal high-school student, until he met her and learned about all that ridiculously stupid supernatural stuff that he had no idea it existed and now looks at how peaceful the lives of all the other normal people are with those common worries such has love, jobs etc, while he is saving the world or something like that" cliché?
