I wonder if Akuemon killed everyone at the Governor's palace, since he didn't even cut down most of the archers who shot at him. I mean, all they need to do is reload and shoot again. |

| I will have to agree that the real wife surviving is a poor execution, it almost felt like a fairy tale. The story was fine in the beginning but I do think the writer messed up very badly. Well, it was a decent watch nevetheless, a 6/10 imo |
| I, for one, am fine that Kuzunoha survived. Her supposed death served it's purpose and it would've been a meaninglessly cruel ending for the boy with both parents gone. Nice story for a 23 min OVA, albeit maybe a bit too short. |
