Well, that was a pretty good ending. Still wonder how Colo didn't die because of the stabbing -_-'
Oh well, my first Jiro Matsumoto manga, and what a damn good manga it was. Wonderful characters, good overlapping of reality and fantasy and a nice coming of age story (even though a bit more info on the war would have been nice). Unfortunately the art isn't really the best, and some scenes were 2grotesque4me.
Anyway, I'll be really digging in the others works of Matsumoto from now on.

A very enthusiastic 8/10 from me.

This second book was better, but this last chapter was limp.
Beautiful words to ends, but this boy, Colo, his personality don´t like, and he has a lot of guilty what happened both girls, his indecision and fake dreams!!!!

He advance, but scaping of her life, and scape because never return a his home.

In summary, don´t like much this manga...5/10.

Pretty good story, although I do think Matsumoto could've eased up a bit on the sex in favor of giving some insight on how the three childhood friends drifted apart, or the circumstances surrounding the war. And speaking of which, the end of the war was really abrupt, allies suddenly landed in fictional Normandy and it's time to pack up and leave. The art was pretty good, especially how the female characters were drawn.

I feel like the manga would've shined even more if Colo's art was more in focus, the idea of how Cookie, Naomi and the neighbor lady caught a glimpse of his inner fantasies had more potential than just some weird escapist mumbo jumbo.

Took a little to get into it, but damn good story. I was fine with sparse context of the surrounding world as it added to Colo's narrow perspective of things. Loved Colo's character, while I'm not entirely sure what his plans are now. The one issue I had though is why did Naomi have to let herself die? She didn't seem suicidal anymore with how hopeful she was to be with Colo. What did she mean by "not having a choice"? She could've waited by the rocket and have been safe

Not a satisfying ending. The b*tch lives and the beauty dies.

8/10
