| dumbest filler ever!!! how the hell can someone with little sword skill, like Kira, hold his own against Kazeshini, who's paths are unpredictable? Why don't they make Kira fight his own zanpakuto(which by the way looks awesome)? This is stupid. I can't understand why they wanna make Kira seem as strong as Hisagi... Sadly, I predict we won't see Hisagi again until this filler is over. His appearance in the second movie was totally unnecesarilly, and it wouldn't have hurt if he got more air-time in the third also. |
| Well, it's a filler so we don't have to worry that anything bad wil happen to Shuuhei. However, the anime creators could not have any idea for him at present and they just sent him "to the hospital" to recover so that they don't have to worry about his character for a while. |

After The Academy, Renji improved some more by training with Ikkaku, while Kira improved his skills overall. Anyway, they both mainly relied on their shikai abilities. Hisagi on the other hand was their senpai and was recognized by Soul Society as an elite. He used to take missions from Soul Society before graduating, Renji and Kira, never did. Also, Hisagi never relied on his shikai, so he had to improve his sword skill in order to not need shikai. |
