T_T What about Orange-Side Fansubs?? No one has commented on use yet. It makes me sad lol. Just because we take an extra week to release XD

You should definitely redo your first episode (which makes it v3) and pay more attention to your TL and editing. You totally got the thing about Youko-rin being Chief of the Day way off. It's the part where Shin and his younger brother were talking when they arrived at the airport. Some TL notes will also be helpful.

Other than that, Orange-Side seems to be a pretty promising fansub group. I loved the cool fonts they used, audio/video quality, and OP/ED karaokes. You guys aren't too slow either.

Just do a double-check on your TLs and you're on your way to being one of the best out there.

Then of course, the most recent frustrating translation.. is 'Marebito'.. which means something like.. 'people who are rare'.. it's just one of those things that you have to take it into context.. and hope that you come up with a working translation. ^_^

No, it does not mean that. Shinshen's "The Outsiders" seems closest in meaning, although it is still a bit off.

I consider the following valid reasons,

1. Horrible video encode (glitchy video, stutter, etc)
2. Horrible grammatical errors (think of Y-M when they did Sukuran S2)
3. No Sound (You'll be surprised)

...You don't consider incorrect translation an issue at all?

Soooo, I suppose I might as well definitively count out Oi at this point. And I was kind of hoping AnimeYoshi would pick up the slack, since their School Days was great, but it's looking like that isn't happening either.

Are the remaining groups still bad, or did they suddenly get better? I don't care how mediocre the series is, I was enjoying it enough that I want to see it through to the end...

Also known as Monster in a box, but I hate that handle...and it doesn't fit here.

@Devdan:
Well, the best choice now would be going with Orange-Side. They're actually good if not for the occasional TL misses, but overall, they've got quality when you compare them to the other groups subbing the series that haven't dropped the project yet.

Also, Orange-Side is picking up new projects this Spring 2008 and they are in joint projects too. I think, this group is really promising. :)

no one seems to suggest any other fansub group...I guess I'll start downloading from orange side then...
