I was just wondering if people had thoughts on how the movie ended and where or not they like it or not. I loved the movie, and its message was very personal and moving to me. I just thought that in the end Rin could have someone sitll be reunited with Usamaro. Perhaps he would break the seal again and release him once again. I understand that would be frowned upon by the community and all but come on! they were like "brothers". Darn Rin having to initiate him into the Okumura family, all the feels.... Anyways, as far as I can tell, Usamaro would have retained his memories and he would be the change-of-heart demon he was and they could all live happily ever after. But Rin just ended up at the shrine and it was like the whole thing never happened. Arggg someone give me closure lol!

I think he died. im not so shur. im really confused why all those little black cats started overriding the city. why???

Yes, he died. He sacrificed his life for the city, as it is said he ate time and all memories which also went back in time making everyone forget about what happened and also making them forget about his existence.
