Kyaaa! Ren is so gorgeous! I could just stare at him all day! ♥ Daiki is fine too but that mysterious aura! And when he smiles, it takes my breath away! Haha! XD

I'm already team Ren all the way aha. I hope this story can help me to understand what a real first love feels like. I couldn't have started a better book (´,,•ω•,,).

I re-read the first chapter recently and god, Sakisaka-sensei really knows how to capture youth feelings. Nishioka acts like someone inexperienced and therefore people insist on tell her how she feels or should feel, but her meeting with Ren shakes her world. The apple metaphor is really great to talk about first love. Love is sweet but also really bitter. It makes you hurt a lot. But, if you are someone alloromantic, it comes and makes you grow. You end up learning a lot about yourself and that's the path that Nishioka stars on this chapter. Also, all those teenage girls gushing over Ren and random things are just lovely to see. Sakisaka portrays girl in such a wholesome way. Reading this as a young adult woman, it's nice to remember my high school days (they were less romantic and I not like the girls portrayed, but it gives me a little nostalgia anyways) and see others have a great time on such difficult years.
