| To me, he is the sexiest game character, possibly, ever. Not my favorite, since I tend to lean towards the good guys, but my favorite bad guy without a doubt and still one of my favorite characters, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever. I love everything about him except the fact that he killed Tifa and Cloud's family, but I hate that and I love that he gets that from me, too, so many emotions, ah. As I said in the comments of the club, when this game first came out and normal teenage girls had pictures of the Backstreet Boys and N Sync on their wall, I had Sephiroth pictures on my wall. They were from the game booklet and handbook, I cut them out and the like and anything I could find in magazines. I used to carry around the picture of him walking in the fire, I love him. I love that he is obsessed with Cloud, but is wrong, I love that he is ... as I just said, OBSESSED with Cloud and I also love that Cloud can beat him. He is an insane, mad individual, but with GOOD reason. I would be insane, too, most likely, but some others handled it better, but he is insane... His parents are half-awesome, too, meaning half of them, haha. Lucrecia is awesome and the Spirit of Vincent-notfather man works for me, too. Hojo, though = ew. Lol. He is so hot, too. Black clothes, I love long hair, he has the best hair, haha. Him and Tifa, woo. The hair, the color, the style, the clothes, the sword, the voice, the insanity, the attitude. Me <3 Sephi. |

| Haha, YES, his theme is one of my top favorite Final Fantasy themes, ever. Actually, I guess it is my favorite. I was too busy ranting about normal sexy him, but that too! I LOVE HIS THEME SO MUCH. Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. haha. And, that is right. Sephiroth is too cool. That is exactly what I am thinking in that Genesis fight. I was so fucking happy when he had that look, it was absolutely perfection priceless Sephiroth look of love... hatred, haha. |

| He's the incarnation of cool. And I have a terrible weakness for people trying to become/ create God. Sephiroth was the one that jump-started that obsession with that single plot element, one dark autumn night a few years ago. Essentially, he's the image of someone who refuses to accept the truth of his low origin and worth, and in rejection overreacts. But mainly, he's just plain awesome cool. |

And on the topic of Hitler - well, Sephiroth would have been nearly as objectionable as that bastard if he were real. In fictive mediums, however, the (lacanian) Imaginary and Symbolic aspects of something are far more powerful than the Real - especially the Symbolic Imaginary and Imaginary Imaginary, if you extend it to Zizek's interpretation. Or, less eruditely and show-offy, things are cool in games which are fucked-up IRL. |

| Do you want to know the #1 reason why I love him? Because he killed Aerith. While he did intrigue me before then, what with his wonderful amount of character development that I hadn't seen a lot in villains before then, doing the flower girl in was the clincher as I absolutely could not stand her =P My respect for him skyrocketed, which turned to love which turned to obsession which is why I'm here. XD Other than that, as many people have stated, the character design is flawless. His hair, outfit, sword...everything about him is so amazingly evil! (I'm a sucker for the bad guys.) To say nothing about "One-Winged Angel," which is and always will be my favorite FF theme ever. (As much as I love the Advent Children version, I think the orchestral version from Reunion Tracks is still my favorite, since they didn't feel the need to mess with the lyrics. The Crisis Core remix almost beat that one, but not quite.) The fact that his theme song is somehow remade and accompanies him for every single appearance is hilarious yet awesome. It's possible I've missed something...well in short, what's not to like about him, eh? |

| When I was younger me and my friends always talk about a future boyfriend, who will have long hair (down to his knees)... Well, I've never meet that kind of guy (and my friend's boyfriend have really short hair :P),well... somehow Sephiroth is kind of substitute of my dreams ;P But that's not all, and it's not even at the top of things-I-like-about-him. He was the first bad character I really like. His insanity, and look that can kill! Pure evil, but he's also kind of romantic... I mean in Dracula's way (for example). I would like he could change and become good, but on the other hand this perspective makes me real terrified xD so after all I want him to stay as bad as he's now. He was born to be bad and he is pretty good in it… Of course music had great role in my adoration of Sephiroth – One Winged Angel is my favorite song ever after! I even learned latin lyrics from two version of it (the game one, and movie one) P.S. VirusZero! Thanks for OCRemix version link!!! I would like Squerenix made another game with Sephiroth! I don’t think I would have chance to play it (since I don't have playstation), but there are always game movies on YouTube :D |

| I have to be fair, Sephiroth is probably the best Final Fantasy bad guy of all time. He had no remorse and no pitty for anyone or anything, this is how a bad guy should be. I mean a big example of this, is when he kills Aeris, i mean she was praying and had her back turned to him, thats how a bad guy does things. |

Well... basically yeah (really bad, bad guy:P), but on the other hand - was killing somebody when he/she is turned back to you, a sign of cowardice??? | 1. I'm not one to be shallow, but DAMN he's smokin'! 2. He was one of the first deep and complex characters of any game/movie/TV/etc. I had ever encountered. 3. I like the angelic aura that he seems to give off. My mouth dropped when I first fought Safer Sephiroth. 4. His seiyuu, Toshiyuki Morikawa, made this character send chills down my spine every time he talked. 5. His theme song is my favorite Final Fantasy song :D |

| He's been my favorite video game character since of him since the flashback scene in Kalm way back in '97, and to this day that has not changed. The expansion and developement of his character through the new games and other media have only served to deepen my favoritism for this character, and I'm sure that future projects including him will only serve to do more the same. |

| Generally I prefer a slightly more charismatic bad guy, but there was something about Sephiroth from the very beginning. Not sure if it was the awesome hair, the cool outfit, the glowing eyes, or the "Oh, poor me, my mother's a freaky alien head," but I've always had a soft spot for him! |

| His calm and collected personality. His unwavering confidence and superiority complex over all that exists. His reason for turning on Shinra, the bastards who created him out of personal gain, and the world, which caused his hatred for mankind, viewing them with contempt and from a cynical point of view. How he manipulates people like puppets, controlling the Jenova cells within them against their will. The fact that it was the world that turned him into what he is. He is the coolest villain because he previously wasn't a villain. The fact that he used to be a good-hearted, law abiding man makes his turning so much sweeter. What really gets me though, is, that his insanity and actions are reasonable, or at least to some extent. You truly can relate to and understand his struggle, his mistrust, abandonment, and hatred of mankind. Going mad because he thinks he was created of Jenova, thinks that she was a Cetra, and that the Cetra were exterminated by the human race (which is hilariously ironic, because it was Jenova). I mean, is that SO hard to understand? Are his actions that unreasonable? Of course if he knew the truth you could easily argue otherwise lol. His insanely brilliant and awe inspiring plan to summon a meteor the size of midgar, absorb the life stream formed by the scar, and ultimately become God while ruling the planet, taking it back from the inferior humans, feeling it is his right, even though he proved to be God worthy without that power (Safer Sephiroth/casting Supernova). He is the chosen one. I love that his motivation for his destruction and plans are based off of lies (Jenova being a Cetra and his mother). His remarkable feats that left everyone speechless i.e. spearing Midgar Zolom, slaying the green dragon with one cut while you died in one hit, murder of President Shinra and bloody trail of Jenova, Taking Jenova's head, burning down Nibleheim, getting Cloud to almost butcher Aeris and of course straight up murdering Aeris like the sociopath he is right in front of her lover. His memorable dialogues throughout the entire game that accompanied these cinema scenes, as well as his many timeless signature music themes. And of course, everything about his image. That face that, although seemingly emotionless, expresses the deepest of hatred. The apparel that further compliment his flawless image - the long platinum hair, evil green eyes, long black trench coat, metal shoulder pads, and most of all, the most badass and ideal weapon of a villain ever created, a 7 ft long katana, the Masamune. No other villain comes close. No other game comes close. Also:  |
