Great episode, they almost died =O
Man, the pacing in this anime it's a bit slow, I wonder if there would be any good plot soon, and if Heidi'd marry Peter at the end.

Jesus Peter. That's pretty advanced technique. Maybe you should stick to your hands for few more years.

Heidi is kind, but her grandfather is really kind as well. He treats Peter so well, always welcoming him with open arms. And even though he hesitated when it came to let Heidi get involved with other people, he was never against her getting close to Peter. The scene in which Heidi wanted Peter to pay attention to her while she talked about the signs of the upcoming spring, but he only wanted to keep eating was really cute and precious.

Those two boys were annoying though. lol I'm glad Peter didn't get mad at Heidi when they lost the race, and that her grandfather was there to save them from getting washed away by the avalanche. Well, spring is back!

I am happy to see Peter losing his nervous behavior whenever he gets too close to Grandfather. He now seems to like the old man. It is only natural seeing how the grandfather always welcomes him with open arms. Him not paying attention to anything Heidi says, only focusing on his food heavily reminds me of myself. I am eating here, don't interrupt me! Peter is already considered part of the family. I am sure grandpa agrees.

But still, this is the first near-death and hopefully, the last, experience that Heidi underwent. No wonder she is frightened. I would imagine the same thing with Peter. He is just a shepherd, usually, nothing threatening occurs with that kind of occupation.
