@KawazoeKumiko Hmm from someone like me who can't decide on a specific personality for a girl to date in real life, I find myself watching more romance focused anime. My friends would always talk about girls so I guess it made me think that romance is more important to have a happy life, even though I'm quite happy after staying single. Ops, hehe. I'm watching yama no susume - slice of life without romance so I guess it's pretty fun to watch. My guess is they want to recommend you safe choices because if it's popular, then it would surely be acceptable for almost everyone :p. I guess it's better to ask in a thread so you can get more opinion and I realized how many anime starting to stack up just by reading one or two recommendation thread. Hidden gems, yes it would be good to find one. I'm pretty skeptical about watching heavy stuff, so I'm still learning how to get in the mood for serious stuff like murder and betrayal for example. |

Usually takes me a long time before I can actually have the inspiration to start something deviantart's always a great place to start we should start exchanging MAL coins as currency for cerds orz Orz, tbh I feel like I have a lot of editions stacking up for me to start naming or deliver,,,, shameless procrastination @hazecloud ahh, I love slice of life too and I generally prefer those that is not centered on romance (which a lot are, sadly). Aahh, I see. sometimes I do rely on ratings too and their recommendation, but usually they recommend you all these mainstream animes that I really don't want to watch. Like every single time someome would rec me One Piece, Code Geass, Fairytail, Attack on Titans and everything that sounded as if they'd taken it off some top 10 rated anime sites or something. I mean, I do respect their opinions, but they're making it as if those are the only available animes when there're a lot more underrated ones out there. |
