Well, after the first 3 volumes I felt like it had the potential to become even greater than Blame! But then it started to get weirder and weirder by each new chapter and, worst of all, very rushed. Yes, I don't even have problems with weirdness (rather like it!), but rushness is really really bad(( Take that fairy tale chapter for example, it could be a whole great ARC about Higuide if not rushed like that -- as one single chapter it totally fell out from continuity. It's as if Nihei lost interest in the series for some reason.Dunno, I still like it but it just feels like it could've been much better. |

Just finished Biomega earlier this morning. To be honest, I'm a little bit disappointed, but I guess it'd be unfair to always use his masterpiece (BLAME!) for comparison. |

Wow, that guy (Hox) is incredible! He should be like our new hero!Biomega 36 What a speed! And that would be the end of volume 5. BTW, volume 6 (the last one) was released a couple of days ago. I wonder if it has something about the new series in it. |

Great chapter. It was really fast paced. It felt like a medieval fantasy. I like this new guy and what's up with his arm?Nihei's art has seemed very different in these later Biomega chapters. Like the way shadows and textures are done is different. It still looks great and I'm happy to see his art style changing. It just keeps getting better and better. But I still see Abara as having the most beautiful art. |
