Same. Just reading Dune and trying to finish my sci-fi novel pile. I read a chapter from the bible every night too. Do you like Allan Poe? Somehow I feel close to him, since there's a darkness always surrounding me. Hope you're not so depressive.

I remember reading the Red Hook tale. It was my first Lovecraft experience. This kind of town terror came on True Detective (loads of KIY references). Have you heard of?

So you probably never tried any real good western comic. European comics are the best. You know Jodorowsky's films, right? You should know his work as comic writer is at same level as his movies. Or even better. His books together with Moebius are fantastic. The Incal is the most famous one, dealing with surrealism and sci-fi. Out of the experimental/unreal material, his graphic novel Borgia (featuring incredible art of the erotic master Milo Manara) is one of my favorites. The graphic art is far more realistic and adult in european works. And if you're goin to read american hype stuff like DC and Marvel, I reccomend looking for Vertigo label (adult label) or european names on it, like Peter Milligan, Alan Moore, Alan Grant, Neil Gaiman... I think you should start with Alan Moore's Saga of the Swamp Thing or Neil Gaiman's Sandman. Both amazing gothic horror.

I'm currently reading Dune. About comics, I'm reading Requiem Vampire Knight (google it and tell me what you think of the artwork).

I personally prefer Robert W. Chambers' King in Yellow than my Lovecraft books. Similar atmosphere. What about western comics?

So you should take a look at those albums ;)
Seems great, I'll listen to them.
Oh, you're into Lovecraft. Did you read the Re-Animator novel? I know it's out of his surreal cosmic horror world, but the first two movies were 10/10. And I never found any book.
Are you on skype?
