I didn't know everyone was divided on the ending lol. I'm in the middle.

The manga ending didn't wow me, but it didn't piss me off either. I was pretty much satisfied with it. Definitely more stuff could have been resolved. But I'm glad certain things were resolved, that woulda sucked A LOT if they weren't. For example, there was something in Bleach (which is a very underrated manga) we were waiting literally about ten years for and it didn't happen... that was such a rip-off.

More than anything I want to see the rest of Claymore animated. There are some CRAZY fights and moments that would look sick animated. I don't care if its animated like Berserk 2016/2017, I liked Berserk's story so much the CGI didn't bother me at all! I still really enjoyed it how it was.

It wasn't really a good ending at all. It explained very little and left open many story elements.
The manga ending was quite rushed as well.

The anime had to stop somewhere so they went with something original. The manga had a good ending, Clare got her revenge, the Organisation was defeated, Raki got his waifu. What do you want more?

Guys I really loved this series, but, why the endings had to be soo fucking shit (both the anime non-canon crap and the rushed manga endings) ?

They have "restarted" Berserk and FMA in the past, and continued putting more of the manga in anime form so hopefully they do the same with Claymore.. someday. Gantz would be nice too, the complete manga was incredible.

The Claymore manga is amazing and has some epic moments, and finished the series nicely, plus it goes by REALLY fast :D

I have the personal tradition of watching the series at least once a year. I really liked the anime version, in fact, I saw the series in the first instance and then I started following the manga week by week. What happens is that the end does not do justice to such a great series.

The manga, on the other hand, does have an acceptable ending.
Hell, how I would have liked to watch in the anime series the warriors after seven years of hiding in Pieta.

For me, the entire anime left a huge impression on me except the ending episode which I never watched again and barely remember. I rewatch a lot of other Claymore episodes but not that. I'm pretty sure it was NOT manga-related lol

Everyone used to criticize Berserk (1998) for following the manga for their finale, but I think they made the right decision since that final episode was extremely effective and really made you want to see and read more even back in the early 2000s. It was also very unique and tied together with the opening of the series. Claymore should have done the same- leaving off on a cliffhanger and following the manga to make people really want to see another series and go read the manga.

You know with all the reboots out there, I think we might actually see a new Claymore someday to finally finish the series. I'd even take it with Berserk CG, since the Claymore story is so good it doesn't matter. With anime you have to take what you can get lol
