This is why I waited on buying that Disgaea PSP port. XD
also, Rhapsody is having a DS remake port. It's nice too since I never played it.

Disgaea is a brighty colored anime, at least! Lol.

I love how Flonne looks. I want to hug her.

Icy-nee-san | Jan 3, 2008 8:23 AM

Yandere | Dec 30, 2007 7:43 PM
Sharing it around, whee.

Icy-nee-san | Dec 27, 2007 9:57 PM
I went to 9 different stores (that sold new/used games) and none of them had any of them :P

I guess they all got sold on boxing day /sob

Hi bullshock. ^_^

Um... well Soul Nomad is your safest bet for non-discontinued strategy goodness.

Also try finding Phantom Brave and Makai Kingdom used when you visit EB games. They are "spiritual" sequels to Disgaea, since they share a similar battle system and classes.

Finally, try finding La Pucelle. Where I'm at, it's uncommon to find new and used even when discontinued.

Hiyo peoples~ I Joined cause i liked Disgaea and was wondering if anyone was thinking of giving their copy to a EB games or something, since my parents dont allow me to shop online ive had to restrict myself to buy though used copys (sob) Anyone from Vancouver to Seattle trade in theres yet :P

Also anything thats similar to Disgaea in either gameplay or story, but not both :P And cheap...and hasnt been discontinued :P

OMG!!!!!!!!!! I love Atelier sooooo much, it's so one of the best series that have come out in a long time, sooooooooooo fantasy-like. <3 The last one was totally awesome, too and unique!

Kuronoa | Dec 18, 2007 11:44 AM
Okay then. :D

Hi all
I watched Ar Tonelico. It's 1 episode OVA. You don't need to play game to understand anime. First half of the OVA is almost identical with the beginning of the game, while the second half has different plot then game.

Good news. ^_^
NIS America is going to release Mana Khemia ~ Alchemists of Al-Revis ~ for the PS2 March 18, 2008. This game is considered a "spiritual successor" to the Atelier Iris series.

Time to buy a third memory card for the PS2. Now where did all my money go...

Yandere | Dec 12, 2007 12:38 PM
I have not watched the anime, actually, but I think it is like the game, but I do not think you have to play the game to understand it mainly because basically no one plays Nippon Ichi and Atlus games, so yeah. lol.

It's awesome that you got AR Tonelico, though, I love games with item creation AND I LOVE games that give you the chance to work on relationships with the different characters, even though, I will say that I also love RPGs where the romantic story is set and there is only one ending, too.

Phantom Brave, I love Ash so much, haha. He's great. I posted this awesome picture of Pleinair in the Pleinair club of her dressed up in Marona's clothes with an Ash doll. lol.

Welcome Royal!

Well I just got Ar Tonelico myself but have to wait until Christmas to play it.
Hmm... what about the anime? Is it any good? Do you need to play the game to understand it?

Oh, and we need more pictures. I'll find a few.

Hi I am RPG anime and JRPG fan. I like Nippon Ichi games, that games have that classic anime feeling in them. I finished Ar Tonelico, very good story and I like item creation there. It is not hard game and it doesnt have much RPG grinding so it is easy even for people who dont play RPGs usually. I played Phantom Brave too, but my saved game got crushed so I didnt finish it.
