Sanpei (サンペイ)Steveland is a character of the day who appeared in Pursuing a Lofty Goal!.Steveland faced James in the Squallville PokéRinger competition, with his Skiploom being pitted against Jessie's Yanmega, which was being used by James at the time. James criticized him for using such a Pokémon for a PokéRinger competition. However, when an updraft hit the two Pokémon, Yanmega was left disoriented and fell to the ground. As for Skiploom, it benefited from the updraft; it easily grabbed the ring from the balloon and brought it to the goal, earning Steveland the win.
