10; amazing - not always exactly a masterpiece, but certainly what i would deem top tier
9; great - very enjoyable to watch/read; usually has a great message or distinct features
8; very good - very good, but not quite great
7; pretty good - quite simply, it was enjoyable
6; not bad - has its ups and downs, ultimately was still entertaining to watch/read
5; decent - usually series that i deemed somewhat boring and lacking in quality.
4; pretty bad - usually for series that i enjoyed, but took a turn in the wrong direction than i'd have liked
3; bad - the story or characters, i feel, are handled poorly and it is irritatingly bad.
2; very bad - these become too painful to watch/read and are extremely irritating to sit through.
1; awful - i wish it had never existed. delete 'em.
