obligatory hot springs episode, I kind of wish the other characters showed up as well, it was a bit boring with just the three of them

the premise was interesting but the execution didn't work, its much more fun when they interact with each other, (and no I'm not at all bitter they killed my fave, episode 11 is invalid)

it's honestly worth it just to see Miyoshi alive and well again, not that he isn't, I simply refuse to acknowledge that episode 11 is canon, ah and Yoru is pretty cute

the characters are fun, and I like the setup, the anime’s music and effects were all done perfectly, I just wish someone confessed at the end

I am interested to see how the election gambles pans out despite already knowing Yumeko’ll always win in the end, the new characters were not interesting though, especially the secretary and Rei, I really didn’t care for their conflict

an eccentric detective and his bumbling assistant, it follows a pretty classic formula but thankfully I don't dislike it, I also think his ability to force the "killers" to kill themselves as pretty cool, the mysteries are okay and they give you (rather obvious) hints to solve it yourself

starts of with no time skip, continuing where we left off in season one but giving more clues and context to the house of m and Ron’s past, I’m glad his dad ended up being a good guy

even though its based off common stereotypes, sometimes its way too accurate, type A for the win!

although I prefer the format of the first season more, I like how we got all sorts of different relationship dynamics this time!

Phantom of the Opera is a pretty well adapted case in the Kindaichi series, although this is probably before the TV series, I thought it was pretty good, I did feel a bit bad for the main culprit, the animation was fine relative to its time, and looks consistent enough to the manga in terms of art style

a classic in the whodunit genre, although I've always preferred Conan, I have to hand it to Kindaichi, the longer cases are definately quite complex, it's very hard to get all the tricks down in one go and I'm pretty much a pro at this!

a good continuation of the first season, a few pretty interesting cases

this was a fun special about Akechi and Kobayashi, I liked how the thug reformed himself to help the bookstore owner, I’m sad we didn’t see the actual takedown of the corrupt politician

they really love the Phantom of the Opera in Kindaichi adaptions lol, at least each time the culprit is someone new, the second case was pretty good as well

this show never fails to inspire me to pick up my violin and play again, the reverse harem is well done too, Tsukimori and Yunoki is just <3

a typical special episode that features each of the guys alone with Hino, Tsuchiura had the best music selection but I liked Kanazawa-sensei's part the most

while the story is a touch repetitive it's to be expected of a reverse harem, Kaji is pretty cute though, I'm seriously disappointed they cut off right before Hino's performance, this should have been longer!

I distinctly remember enjoying this a lot more as a manga, it had a strong start but the anime didn’t resonate with me, anime Shinichi is a whiny useless coward (or selfishly optimistic) and Murano is super irritating, poor Migi deserved a better host

at some point, I ended up connecting with these characters I originally could not stand, and that completely changed the game for me, I'm glad it ended well for everyone

pretty funny, the humour hit the mark for me a few times, not terrible but also not a repeat watch

the art is beautiful and the animation is a feast for the eyes, the plot could have focused a touch more on the kabane themselves, but I don't particularly mind Biba as the villain, or the rather out of place power-ups

you wouldn’t think watching an animated spider talk to herself would be that entertaining but it really is, the story picks up in the later half but the human side is still pretty meh, also Shun is seriously so annoying

I don't mind the original content if it's done well but the series seriously suffers from the erratic pacing and disjointed plot points, however I must admit, despite the flaws it's still highly entertaining

if you consider this as a spinoff rather than an adpation of the manga, it's actually quite good, I like it more than the first season, demon!Ciel is like every fangirl's dream, I do feel bad for Sebastian though, poor thing, he never got his meal

I'm part of the minority that actually enjoyed the second season of Kuroshitsuji but these specials take the cake, absurd yes, but hilarious and entertaining, also Will had his own episode, what else do you want?

I've always considered recaps to be rather pointless unless its summarizing 100+ episodes or something, but for what its worth, its a decent rerun of some of the best scenes of season one before the divergence

one of the best arcs in the manga, love the adaptation as well, thank god it stayed true to the story-line

the art is kind of wonky tbh but I’m enjoying the story, I really like the male lead and Rishe is fun, she’s really smart and resourceful given all the lives she’s had learning various skills, I also like the chemistry between them it’s really cute, I hope this gets another season

oh god, the kansai-ben was unexpectedly perfect and the humor is totally on point, the series kind of dragged on a little near the end but the last episode made up for everything

I’ve never watched Lupin before but I thought this was pretty fun, the culprit is pretty obvious though, it wasn’t a versus, more of a “ran into one another and just so ended up helping each other”

I feel like this was better than the other crossover, I love the “papa” joke between Conan and Jigen, it’s hilarious, the Kid vs Lupin tease at the end was great hahaha

Sinbad seriously kicks ass, he's such a charismatic and complex character, I'm really glad he got a spinoff because Magi didn't pique my interest at all, since the adventure is obviously incomplete, I hope this gets another season

it feels like I'm playing a dating sim (but without all the work involved), call me weird but I kind of like it?, though there were a couple I could do without

there's not much of a plot but Aito is rather likable for a pervert and Mihari is definitely best girl, that aside ecchi just doesn't sit well with me

nothing different from the main series, it seems there's more fanservice than normal though

there isn't much of a cohesive plot but it is pretty informative, I learned a lot about publishing and creating manga, the girls are really cute too, I might be changing my mind about the CGDCT genre

yes Anos is overpowered but that’s basically the entire premise, and it’s fun to watch him kick everyone’s ass like it’s nothing, however I will admit I lost interest towards the end

in the end no one died and I got a show trying too hard to be ~deep~ when it's actually more of a comedy than anything, it didn't help that I absolutely hated both Mitsumune and Masaki

the case was actually more interesting than I remembered it being, I didn't expect the dog to actually be a guitar case, as expected of Kudou Yuusaku though, he got the correct answer so quickly!

tiny Shinichi was so cute!, I enjoyed the mahjong primer too

the subway bomb is my favorite part, the black-and-white wire scene was great too

the scene with the hostage is beautiful, it really fleshed out the backgrounds for Kogoro and Eri

I liked that it incorporates a bit of Russian history into the plotline, the twist at the end with Kid was a nice surprise too

damn, that chase through the amusement park was intense, Conan is seriously pro with his skateboard, the murderer was surprising too, talk about a psychopath

the car racing off the building using the acceleration from the bomb was amazing, oh god I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, Genta and Mitsuhiko grabing Haibara was super sweet too, gahhhh this movie is perfect

virtual reality plus Conan plus Jack-the-Ripper, what could go wrong with that kind of combination?

Heiji and Conan working together is always refreshing, superb teamwork

the mystery was really weak, but the landing of the plane was pretty well executed (if not a little impossible), logic never really applies to Conan anyways

Kogoro gets overshadowed by Conan a lot so I was really happy to see him get the spotlight this time, couldn't care less about Ran and her stupidity though

despite the rather unengaging case, this is still one of my favorite movies from the franchise, yes everything turned out to be quite convenient but what DC case isn't convenient?

to be frank, I thought this was pretty boring, the mystery wasn't very engaging and the side characters were plain, I never seem to like the ones with them out on the sea

since I enjoy classical music, I thought it was quite enjoyable, that aside I really disliked the killer, his motive is honestly quite weak compared to the damage he caused

one of the more exciting movies in the franchise, but cases with the black organization usually are, I wish they gave Heiji more scenes

not so much a mystery but satisfying nonetheless, the thriller-like elements worked well, adding Kid and Heiji is just the icing on top of the cake

it's definitely one of the weaker DC movies, the pace is just very slow, plus the avalanche rescue scene was honestly too unbelievable, even for Conan

I was sweating buckets when Conan skateboarded on top of the stadium, mystery seemed rather repetitive though, I swear they've done the stadium bomb scare before, ah well

...meh, honestly that's how I felt about the entire film, a whole lot of meh, not even Heiji helped save this movie

you gotta hand it to Conan, he consistently manages to pull off the craziest stunts mid-air, also Akai is seriously so cool, he totally made the movie for me

I really like the comic-style introduction, I think the OVA did a better job of making me connect with the characters compared to the tv short, Mayu's frozen squid eyes are actually really cute!

Mayu has really creepy eyes, they grow on you after a while but at first its disturbing, aside from that I guess it was rather cute

just as cute as the first season, I kind of wish Mayu said something out loud at least once

pretty sure this is supposed to be a satire on the shounen genre, and while I do enjoy the classic friendship power boost once in a while, this is pure genius, one puuuunchhhhh!

its nice to know that Haruna changed from his middle-school days, but I really don't care about him and his team so this was kind of boring

some of the episodes this season were absolutely painful to sit through, but the character development was worth it, the team has a lot of growing to do both individually and together but they have time, I can't wait to see them improve

considering how the majority of the focus was on Bijou, this was so-so, I appreciate the angle on cheating but man I really hate people like Roka

I read parts of the novel so I know what to expect but this was so fun, I love stories where the protagonist isn’t a saint, it’s a pity it ended right when he got started with his shadow army

Tatsumi is such a good person!, his blushing face is super cute too, I liked the chemistry he had with Wakasa

came for the drink recommendations, stayed for the wholesome relationship but the show is not long enough for me to feel an attachment to the characters, so it’s just okay

this was oddly endearing and unexpectedly cute, Bakarina is really dense but that’s half the reason why everyone adores her, including me

without the threat from the first season, this feels really slice of life, with too much kidnapping, which isn’t terrible but it’s definitely not as new and refreshing as the first season

the only show I can watch over and over again without it ever getting stale, Haruhi is one of the only female protagonists I can actually stand

tbh I was a little disappointed, Overlord promised me a villain but I got a generic overpowered hero who kills people once in a while so he remains edgy and evil, meh, decent but nothing spectacular

its not like the show is entirely dreadful but I honestly can't get into it, each episode feels like 2 hours tbh, definitely going to skip the sequel even though I have a terrible habit of needing to finish things

the premise is unique and the story is fun, my only gripe is that the series reuses the pedophile joke too much

the old jokes were getting stale so I appreciate the new characters, they're all really unique and make the plot more fun than usual, also I'm glad the town got used to Atsushi's height and stopped arresting him!

talk about unexpected social commentary on how we view gender roles, this was surprisingly deep, very clever indeed

not that different in content from the first season, but I'm glad they toned down the pedophile gag, Sayo's crush on Atsushi is really cute

this was seriously fun, short but hilarious with very endearing characters, Saiki even turned me into a fan of coffee jelly

unexpectedly funny, I think it'd suck to hear everyone's thoughts all the time

keeps the same humour as the first season, but gives you character development, I wish they stuck to the mini episode format though, I think it suits the anime better

very solid, I enjoyed the series very much, the first five episodes were as normal, but the last episode was the epilogue post the final arc which I really enjoyed, Saiki as the physic is the best

this is the final arc but it was suggested to watch between episode 5 and 6 of Reawakened, I thought it was a great ending as Saiki finally ended the time loop!

gives spyxfamily vibes but with much more fighting, I wish he didn’t get fat though, he was so good looking before, it ended in a really awkward place though I guess for Season 2

ahhh our true lord and savior Sakamoto, I think the anime managed to bring out the comedy better, granted a few gags just didn't work for me but man, it was a wild ride, that whole dying theory though, I don't want to believe it

hilarious, I really like the head butler, his snarkyness is wonderful, petition to have Teufel in the main series please!, but really... poor Alba, he's tortured even in his own dreams

forget Mahiru and Tsubaki, the Licht and Hyde combo is the only reason I even bothered to finish this, Kuro makes a really cute cat though, where can I get one?

the humor is less crude than the first season, but it's just as absurd, I like how self-aware the show is, makes the gags more fun in retrospect

perfectly fills in all the gaps I thought the sequel lacked, these definitely need to be watched together to get the whole feel for the first half of the U17 arc

considering how much I love this franchise, its automatically great, even though there is very little tennis actually being played, still enjoyable though, docked off some points because I found the focus a little scattered
