i also feel like the sports element is kinda wasted on this series? if it wasn't included i feel like the series would still be the same LOL besides that it still was a good quality show and it was entertaining but i had hoped to at least connect more with the main pairing which i feel couldn't happen because the focus quickly shifted to the (imo) dragged out love triangle stuff (i love hina and i feel bad for her) but at least it came to an end and isn't kept lingering like some series do for way longer, so i do appreciate that】

【the two main dorks interactions and overall all the characters funny personalities really made up for the wack aspects this show has; if those were left out this show would be scored even higher for me (8,5 on AL). for example typical anime things where they put minors in fan service situations that add no value whatsoever? the worst being episode 1 where this was applied to a SA scene, i was led to believe by manga readers that was the worst of it but for whatever reason it definitely seems to be a reoccurring theme they resort to in this show where they like to put the characters in situations where they are going to be (almost) naked. i just hope this will be the last of it but the end of ep. 12 doesn't give me much hope
so yeah, my score should probably be lower because i really do not support these themes in anime but for this show my enjoyment was kept up because of the many other redeeming aspects it has.】

【i watched episode 0 between ep. 16 & 17 (i will never understand why they aired ep 0 as the first one)
it was an interesting watch for the most part; at the start i didn't care too much but as the story went on i did start to like it more and more, then eventually when i was at ep 0 i was still intrigued but i feel like the ending is just a bit.. idk simple? lackluster?? like they moved on too quickly so it felt really underwhelming? so yeah, i didn't really think the ending paid off with everything it had done before, i somewhat get what they were trying to do but it didn't work for me personally】
