Fairy Tail Movie 1: Houou no Miko - Hajimari no Asa

WELL, this is short special Episode, it is a Prologue to the Movie Phoenix Priestess.
It shows how Eclair became friends with Momon, and what kind of Life did she live, before the Events of the movie.
As short Prologue Episode it is very good, especially if you watch it before the Movie.
As expected from Fairy Tail the Art and Sound are outstanding.
As Prologue, it also makes a good introduction to the characters Eclair and Momon. Eclairs powers, powers of the Phoenix stone, and even the kind of person Eclair is. As for Momon it shown how did they start to share such deep bond, which is ... shown in the Phoenix Priestess movie.
Overall, truly a special episode to enjoy.
I recommend watching it, before the Movie 1.

This special is showing a day of Eclair's life as a prologue to the movie Houou no Miko. You can start with it before you watch the first movie , well i watched it after the movie but it was still enjoyable.
Eclair is a girl who has amnesia kinda.
It's very relaxing actually , it shows us how Momon and Eclair become friends.
Eclair is a immortal being that lived hundred years ... , but she don't remember what she was doing or what she is until she meet Fairy Tail guild.
If you are looking for a special to relax yourself i recommend this to you. The sound and art it's also very good.

Here's a special episode about the movie side character to try and justify her existence in the world of Fairy Tail. She'll never be brought up again, so they only have the length of a single movie to try and get you emotionally invested in her narrative, unless they release an additional special revealing more of her daily life as an amnesiac.

Honestly amnesia as a narrative device is just... don't do it. There are just so few situations where I think it's warranted and this certainly isn't one of them. I find myself less than indifferent to anything that's going on with this girl because ... we don't know anything about her and she apparently doesn't even know anything about herself either. Great, why should I care? It's just insane that anyone would think this is how you'd get an audience to connect with a character.
