The hero business is a power struggle in both of these Anime. Also, Iron Man comes from a world of people with special powers who have the negative public eye upon them.

• Both animes are deconstructions of the mecha genre. • Both animes follow a protagonist struggling to survive in uncomfortable situations, however Tony Stark from Iron Man is clearly the stronger of the two, while Shinji cries and falls down when things get rough, Stark never gives up. • Both animes were made on tight budgets but still deliver wonderful narratives, intriguing themes, incredible animation, beautiful characterisations and marvellous openings that you'll undoubtedly never skip. • Both animes have a setting in Japan • Both animes are in Japanese with an English dub option, making it accessible for anyone • Both animes are considered cult classics and have had  read more

Both are Marvel's anime. Also, Wolverine makes a special guest appearance in one episode making it clear that they share one and the same time line.

"Iron Man" and "Naruto" tell stories of a arrogant and conceited male protagonist who is seeking approval or recognition from a land filled with people who think of him as an outsider. However, slowly but surely, the main character is seen as a postive force through the eyes of people close to him who were affected by his selfless actions and gain the respect of people who understand the purpose behind his life goals as well as what he hopes to achieve.

Both Anime have a form of Mecha in them. Not to mention, they have interesting power sources for the Mecha... Tony's suit is powered by the arc, and the Mecha in the other Anime are powered by... shan't spoil it. :) But the series is based around a secret as well that I can't give away, and it keeps you on your seet.

The series involve mecha/robots and crime. The styles are similar despite the time gap between when they were made and the fights are reminiscent of each other. There is a similar feel.

While Iron Man doesn't get as dark as Darker Than Black, it is dark. Then again, it is hard to get darker then Darker than Black. But the thing is, Darker than Black has very many simularities to the Marvel universe, yet takes a spin on the super hero genera.

This is an adaptation of the DC Comic universe, much better in my point of view than this Iron Man adaptation. Several studios - Bee Train, Madhouse, Production I.G and Studio 4°C - each worked on their own film in this compilation.
