Chang Ge Xing

Chang Ge Xing/The Legend of Princess Chang-Ge is a donghua, or Chinese anime, based on the manhua Song of the Long March. The plot involves a princess who seeks to avenge the deaths of the rest of her family. If you are familiar with Yona of the Dawn, then the premise should be somewhat familiar. Historical dramas are extremely common among Chinese media. However, this one stands out among the rest for its protagonist. Li Chang Ge is a very cunning and calculated character, and she makes for a great female lead. The animation is a 3D style that I cannot describe extremely well. I'd ... say it's almost a Pixar-like style with an Asian twist. It looks a lot better than something from Polygon Pictures but may still be a bit off-putting to new viewers. The last thing worth mentioning is that the opening and ending sequences are rather long, which is normal for Chinese media. Hence, the episode lengths are not reflective of the actual runtime. All in all, I think Chang Ge Xing is definitely a show worth checking out. I can foresee it being talked about with the likes of Quanzhi Gaoshou (The King's Avatar) and Shiguang Dailiren (Link Click) if the story continues to improve. Thanks for reading.

I have to admit: at first, I was a bit apprehensive about this show, since I'm not a big fan of 3D animation. However, after watching it, I completely changed my mind! I ended up binge-watching all the episodes released so far, and now I can't wait for the final one!

The manhua is fantastic—I read it years ago and was captivated. The story is compelling, and the characters are just as remarkable. Chang Ge, the protagonist, stands out as one of my favorite female characters in anime!

Chang Ge Xing is a visually stunning and emotionally deep historical and political donghua.The story is about a young princess named Li Chang Ge. After her family is killed, she flees and begins a dangerous journey. At first, she wants revenge, but along the way, she learns more about the world, meets powerful allies and enemies, and starts to grow as a person.

The animation is very pretty, with nice backgrounds and character designs.
The music fits the story well and helps bring out the emotion ... in each scene.

Although sometimes the pace of the story sometimes can be slow, Some episodes feel rushed, especially in action and This can make it hard for viewers to follow the story.
